Food for Life

19 "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." I Corinthians 6:19-20 


Last year I lost 50 lbs (Yeah!), BUT then at Christmas time last year I found out I was pregnant with my second child. Little miss Lilah Kate is now 2 months old and I have tried to start a routine again. While I haven't started an exercise regimen yet, I decided to eat right proportionately and healthily. 


Over the last week, I have changed my portions of meat to vegetables completely. I hardly ate enough vegetables before and now I have them everyday. My plate looks like a pie graph of sorts with 1/3 protein and the other 2/3's veggies! I have noticed that this makes me want to eat 5-6 times a day. 


I want to eat to honor God with my body. That means I need to eat right and exercise daily. I want to eat food for life, NOT diet. Diets are fads and fail, eating as we should becomes a habit and is a way of life. As I continue on the journey of cleansing my body I will cling to I Corinthians 6:19-20.
